SACRAMENTO, Calif., August 27, 2018 — Sac State Campus Dining, managed by 麻豆精品, Inc. (UEI), is pleased to announce the replacement of plastic straws with paper straws at most UEI-operated eateries. Starting Tuesday, August 28, Baja Fresh Express, Courtyard Market, Epicure Restaurant, Good Eats!, The Bagel Place, The Servery at the Dining Commons, and Togo鈥檚 will provide paper straws to customers.
鈥淢aking the switch from plastic to paper straws at UEI-operated eateries reflects UEI鈥檚 ongoing commitment to sustainability on the Sac State campus,鈥� said UEI鈥檚 Director of Dining Services, Steven Davis.
